1) David Hockney's first joiner was when he was working on a painting of a Los Angeles living room, he took a series of photos of the room so he could paint it better and assembled it together in a collage. He did this by accident but he arranged the smaller pictures to get a better reference of what he was trying to paint and realized the art he had made from doing that.
2) To make a joiner you need to capture many pictures from different angles from the same thing and then put the pictures together in layers to create the bigger picture again giving off a collage look.

I liked this lesson because the final product turned out really cool. However, it was a little bit hard especially at first and having to piece it together later. Overall, the project turned out looking really unique and it was pretty fun in the process.
